Grand Rapids' WGRD celebrated Big Boy's 90th birthday with a guide to West Michigan locations and the $1.90 anniversary deal.
The birthday celebration reached the west side of the state, where Grand Rapids' WGRD marked National Big Boy Day with a fun look at 90 years of Big Boy in Michigan.
The station shared the anniversary deal, the original double-decker for $1.90 with a Pepsi purchase on June 15, plus the throwback pricing and giveaways that ran through the month. They even published a guide to Big Boy locations across West Michigan, from Muskegon up to Cadillac and Traverse City, noting that of the Big Boy restaurants operating in the U.S. today, the overwhelming majority call Michigan home.
